Desktop Programs
Desktop, or single-user, programs are the simplest application structure, but they can still provide powerful function for a business. Whether the data is stored on the user's machine or on a file server and shared with multiple users, it is still considered a desktop application.
While there is usually a limited number of concurrent users for the data, many offices require no more than this type of application. Desktop programs require less time to develop, less resources to operate, and less money to fund.
Another use for desktop applications is in working with smaller, more specific data sets, subsets of data stored in an enterprise database. AxiDev can develop applications that interact with a variety of major databases, selecting from an assortment of available local data repositories.
AxiDev specializes in desktop business applications of all sorts, including tracking systems, financial analysis and data verification, just to name a few. But we are certainly not limited to those.
